Archery is growing and so are we! Newsletter for March 22nd.

The Anchor

Having a solid anchor is a key to success in the shot cycle on the range as well as out in the world as archers. The Anchor is holding your hook, pressed close to your cheek or under your chin, anchored, stable, and secure until you are ready to finish

your shot cycle.

This is like the ability to hold tight to what you think is right and the POWER to pull up anchor and change positions as well if/when we are shown a better way.

So glad to be an Archer! See you on the range!

With Gratitude,

Coach Yale : )

How do members earn pins and what are the requirements to participate

Many of our JOADS and adult club members scored for their first pin recently. However, many are not USA Archery members. We are a USA Archery affiliated Club. While it is optional for you to join USA Archery, participation in the pin program requires a USA Archery membership. Please click here to learn more about the program and the expectations set for all club members who wish to participate.

Club Tournament

Family and friends gathered to support our members and everyone celebrated testing their skills. Most attendees had never been in a tournament and we celebrate their courage. Let's start practicing for our next event in May!
