JOAD is a monthly membership that you can cancel at any time. The JOAD program is for archers who feel excited about learning the art of archery and are interested in growing their skills and have an interest in competing.

 

JOAD Recreational ($139):

  • Club shirt

  • 1 Class per week

    • ​Monthly membership includes 4 classes per month. You can choose to book & check in to either a Wednesday or Saturday class

  • Each class focuses on a specific aspect of archery

    • Additional practice time is available through the Open Range membership​​

  • Option to participate in Club Tournaments (every 12 weeks)

JOAD Competitive Includes ($239):

  • Club Shirt 

  • 2 Classes per week

    • Monthly membership includes 8 classes per month. You can book & check in to both Wednesday and Saturday classes.​

  • Unlimited range time

  • 5% off Workshops

  • 5% Off 1-1 private lessons

  • Each class focuses on a specific aspect of archery. 

  • Option to participate in Club Tournaments (every 12 weeks)

 

Class Schedule:​

  • Dunwoody

    • Saturdays from 4:30 - 6: 00 pm & Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:30 pm

  • Roswell: 

    • Saturdays from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm & Tuesdays from 6:00 - 7:30 pm

Membership Requirements for JOAD Program:

  • Ages 8-18 years old

  • Club bows and arrows available for use

  • Option to bring & practice using your own bow & arrows (if it is approved by the Atlanta Archery Club for safety and poundage)

  • Closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothes, and securing long hair is recommended

JOAD Star Pins for USA Archery Achievements

​

JOAD Achievement Award Star Pins are awarded for scoring achievements. Archers can earn JOAD Achievement Award Stars Pins for shooting indoors and/or outdoors with a barebow, basic compound, fixed pins, recurve, and/or compound bows. A current USA Archery and JOAD membership is required to participate in the Achievement Awards Program. In addition to Star Pins, JOAD archers can earn the official "6-Gold" pin when they shoot six 10's in a row - either in a single 6 arrow end, or in two consecutive 3-arrow ends.
