Both JOAD Club and Team are monthly memberships and you can cancel at any time. The JOAD Club is a commitment to weekly training sessions on Saturdays, while the JOAD Team includes a bi-weekly commitment for archers who feel a more serious commitment to learning the art of the sport.
All archers have the option to earn achievement pins and participate in optional tournaments throughout the year with a low-cost annual membership to USA Archery.
JOAD CLUB
Weekly Commitment
The Atlanta Archery Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) Club is for archers ages 8-18 of all skill levels who want to grow their archery skills through a commitment to ongoing weekly training sessions. Club members are welcome to compete at any level throughout the year with a USA Archery membership.

JOAD TEAM
Bi-Weekly Commitment
Some archers find that one session per week isn't enough to fulfill their desire to learn the art and skill of this ancient sport. The JOAD Team offers a two-day per week commitment to training and tournament preparation, with the option to compete at any level throughout the year with a USA Archery membership.
Included with Membership:

Saturdays are reserved for both JOAD Club and Team members, with a focus on the archer's technique and form using the NTS (National Training System) shot cycle flow.

Tuesday's focus is centered around improving mental toughness, a skill that is valuable in both competition and life. Archers will learn and practice the Mental Management System. Breathing techniques will be taught and practiced, and each archer will work with Coach Yale to develop tournament preparation and training plans. Each archer will learn more about archery equipment and maintenance.

JOAD Star Pins for USA Archery Achievements
JOAD Achievement Award Star Pins are awarded for scoring achievements. Archers can earn JOAD Achievement Award Stars Pins for shooting indoors and/or outdoors with barebow, basic compound, fixed pins, recurve and/or compound bows. A current USA Archery JOAD, Adult, or Family membership is required to participate in the Achievement Awards Program. In addition to Star Pins, JOAD archers can earn the official "6-Gold" pin when they shoot six 10's in a row - either in a single 6 arrow end, or in two consecutive 3-arrow ends.
