Summer Camp Overview

At 'The Way of the Bow' Archery Summer Camp, we welcome young archers ages 8 and up to embark on an incredible journey of skill-building and fun. This summer camp offers a safe, structured environment for learning and refining archery skills, fostering confidence, and enjoying time outdoors.

Our Purpose

Our goal is to help young archers develop skill, confidence, and focus through the empowering sport of archery. Campers will gain valuable skills that extend beyond the archery range, setting them up to achieve personal and team goals with discipline and poise.

What Archers Will Learn

Our summer camp offers a range of skill-building activities designed to give campers a well-rounded archery experience.

Activities Include:


  • Shot Cycle Mastery: Learn each step of the shot cycle for consistent, accurate shooting.
  • Crafting Custom Gear: Campers make their own leather arm guards as a hands-on project.
  • Archery Form & Strength Training: Focus on strength and technique for steady, powerful shots.
  • Creating Memories: Enjoying fun activities, making friends, and taking pride in new accomplishments.

What to Bring to Camp

To ensure a great experience each day, please send your camper prepared with the following items.

Camp Shirt: Every camper receives a custom shirt on Day 1! Remember to provide your size at registration!

Comfortable Clothing:

Loose, athletic clothing is recommended


Backpack: Perfect for carrying all your daily camp essentials.

Sunscreen: Apply before camp; send an extra bottle for reapplication




Lunch and Snacks: A non-perishable lunch and two snacks.

Water Bottle: For hydration throughout the day.




Footwear: Sneakers, flip-flops, or Crocs are ideal. Occasionally, we’ll practice barefoot to connect with the earth.

Drop Off & Pick Up

Drop-off and pick-up for 'The Way of the Bow' Archery Summer Camp are easy and organized, ensuring a safe transition for campers each day.

Lunch & Snacks

Please pack a non-perishable lunch and two snacks each day for your camper. Staying fueled helps our archers stay energized and focused!



  • If your child forgets their lunch, you’re welcome to drop it off at noon.
  • We have water stations where campers can refill their water bottles throughout the day.
  • Nut-Free Zone: To accommodate allergies, we provide a nut-free table. Groupmates without nuts in their lunches can join this table.

Equipment Provided

All necessary archery equipment is provided at camp! Our equipment is safe and high-quality, ensuring campers have the best tools to learn and improve their skills.



Note:

  • We also have bows available for purchase if campers would like their own gear to practice outside of camp.


Safety & Etiquette at Archery Camp

Safety is our number one priority at 'The Way of the Bow' Archery Camp. All campers are expected to act maturely and follow our range rules to ensure a safe, fun environment for everyone.

Behavior and Safety Concerns

 In the event that a camper’s behavior jeopardizes safety, we’ll discuss the situation with the camper and contact their guardian if necessary.

Reflection on Safety Practices

Campers who continue to struggle with following safety guidelines may be asked to leave for the day, with the goal of reflecting on this experience.
